Andrew is a 2024 Mechanical Engineering graduate from North Carolina State University, where he grew immensely in his faith as a student leader in Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship. Meanwhile, Shelby graduated from the Psychology department at Eastern Illinois University in 2023, and began her ministry journey as an intern with Chi Alpha at NC State. A spring break missions trip to Pure Hope in 2022, where we met, was a turning point as God stirred a love for community service and discipleship in the both of us. We are the discipleship coordinators at Pure Hope now, where we cultivate relationships and facilitate discussion about Jesus for people of all ages and stages of life!

We believe being a disciple of Jesus transforms our feelings, thoughts, and behaviors such that God increases and we decrease. With your partnership, we want to realize a vision for Atlantans of all backgrounds to experience this transformation - to have joyful, intimate relationships with Jesus and with others. This is no easy endeavor - Atlanta is a city full of poverty, violence, idolatry, and constant noise and distractions.
